Danish Private School Association is a school organization

The association was founded in 1891.

The private schools in Denmark are independent institutions, and the association’s mission is to support and advise schools’ administration, management and board in their daily work.

Danish Private School Association’s foremost aim is to fight for the right of parents and students to freely choose the type of school they want.

The Association represents the interests of the schools in front of the parliament (Folketinget) and the Ministry of Education.

Furthermore, the Association advises on economic issues, legal issues, educational issues and more.

The Association informs the schools about new things that are relevant to their business. The Association represents the political interests through communication to the press and through social media.

It organizes courses, conferences, workshops, etc. for school managements and boards.
